KVS Class 1 Admissions 2025-26: Last Day for Registration, Results Coming Soon

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) will close online applications for Class 1 admissions today, March 24, at 10 PM. Parents who have not yet completed the process should visit the official website, kvsangathan.nic.in, before the deadline.

Originally, the deadline was set for March 21 but was later extended to allow more time for applicants.

Age Criteria for Eligibility

To be eligible, children must be at least six years old by March 31, 2025. Those born on or before April 1, 2019, qualify for admission. A valid birth certificate issued by municipal authorities, village panchayats, or defense hospitals (for military personnel) is required for age verification.

Seat Reservation Policy

KVS follows a structured reservation system to ensure equal access to education:

• 25% of seats are allocated under the Right to Education (RTE) Act.
• 15% reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) applicants.
• 7.5% reserved for Scheduled Tribe (ST) applicants.
• 27% reserved for Other Backward Classes (OBC - Non-Creamy Layer).

• Click on the “KVS Admission 2025” notification on the homepage.
• Select the registration link for Class 1 admissions.
• Create an account and set up login credentials.
• Fill in the required details and upload necessary documents.
• Submit the application form and pay any applicable fees.
• Download and keep the confirmation page for reference.
