Applications are invited from Indian/Foreign candidates for admission to the one year "Post M.Sc. Diploma Course in Medical Physics".

Eligibility: Minimum eligibility criteria for admission to the one year Post M. Sc. Diploma Course in Medical Physics are as follows:
60% marks in M.Sc. (Physics) or equivalent examination(for foreign candidates) with Physics as major/honours at B.Sc. level. 25% (on 60%) relaxation in marks in M.Sc. examination will be allowed to SCIST candidates, 10o(on 60%) relaxation in marks will be allowed to the foreign candidates and to the candidates working in the field of Radiotherapy/Medical Physics for at least one year.

Selection Procedure: Only Short listed candidates, selected on the basis of final total marks in M.Sc., will be called for interview. Jadavpur University The candidates for admission to the course will be selected from the short listed candidates on the basis of results of interview and the marks obtained in M.Sc. exanmination. The weightage of the marks of interview and M.Sc. examination will be in the 50:50 ratio. Admission to the course will be made strictly on the basis of merit.

Course Fees:
Rs. 1,20,000/- for Indian Candidates + GST @18%
2500 US Dollars for Foreign Candidates + GST @18%
Full-free and Half-free studentship may be granted to few students as per University rules.

Application fees: Rs. 500/- (No form will be accepted without application fees)

Admission Schedule: - Date of publication of the list of eligible candidates for Interview: 23rd May, 2025
- Date of Interview: 17th, 18th & 19th June, 2025
- Date of publication of the provisional merit list for Admission: 8th July, 2025
- Date of Admission: 24th July, 2025
