We are pleased to announce a key initiative to streamline and enhance the examination process. CISCE will standardize the local exmamination fee, which will now be charged directly by CISCE at a uniform rate, replacing the current practice of schools charging varied rates.
Since 2017, CISCE has charged 1,500/- per candidate for printing, distribution, and evaluation of exmination materials. However, this fee did not cover local expenses incurring during the conduct of examinations.
To streamline operations and ensure uniformity, effective from the Examination Year 2026, CISCE will fully cover all examination expenses, such as remuneration to examination functionaries, stationery, and transportation costs etc. Consequently, the revised examination fees will be as follows:
This fee will include all local expenses, and schools will no longer be permitted to collect additional fees for the conduct of examinations.
