How to Apply?

We have a 2-step application process for all Bachelor's and Master's degree programs

Step 1: Fill online/offline Application Form
Applicants seeking admission to Pearl Academy are required to fill out an online form (Click here for online application form) or offline application form that can be collected and paid for at any Pearl Academy campus.

Application fee charges:
- Bachelors and Masters degree program: Rs. 2000/-
- Short Term Certificate Courses: Rs. 500/-
Step 2: Online entrance exam
We have a 2-stage entrance exam comprising an online written exam followed by an online Personal Interview with an expert panel.

Please note: Both the written exam as well as the Personal Interview can be taken/attended online from your home computer.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's program: A 10 + 2 pass certificate in any stream.
Applicants appearing for their final examinations may apply provisionally to any Bachelors degree programs at Pearl Academy.
Master's program: A Bachelor's degree/diploma from a recognized university in any stream.
Applicants appearing for their final examinations may apply provisionally to any Masters degree programs at Pearl Academy.

Examination Process:

1 week before the written exam, applicants are required to choose their online written exam date as well as online personal interview date from the published examination dates.

Exam Pattern:
The examination pattern for Pearl Entrance Exam is as follows:

ALL BACHELOR'S & MASTER'S FASHION, INTERIORS, PRODUCT & COMMUNICATION DESIGN PROGRAMS

Students applying for Fashion and Design Courses need to sit for GPT + DAT exam only.
Exams:
GPT + DAT
General Proficiency Test (GPT) + Design Aptitude Test (DAT) | Personal Interview & Portfolio Showcase
Duration: 90 mins of Exam + 30 mins of Personal Interview

BBA (with a choice of 5 specialisations)

Exam Pathway
Students applying for Business Courses need to sit for GPT exam only.
Exams:
GPT
General Proficiency Test (GPT)
Duration: 60 mins of GPT + 30 mins of Personal Interview

Non-Exam Pathway for MBA
All applicants who meet the eligibility criteria and have a valid National MBA Entrance Test (CAT/XAT/MAT/NMAT/ATMA/CMAT/Others) score are exempt from taking the Online Entrance Test and may directly appear for Online Personal Interview.

Non-Exam Pathway for BBA
I. Through Board Merit

Applicants who score an aggregate of more than 60 percent marks in 10 + 2 will be exempt from taking the Online Entrance Test and may directly appear for Online Personal Interview.
Applicants who have appeared for class XII board exams and are awaiting results will be granted provisional admission if selected.

II.Through CUET score

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria and have a valid CUET score are exempt from taking the Online Entrance Test and may directly appear for Online Personal Interview.
Applicants who have applied through the CUET pathway and are awaiting results will be granted provisional admission if selected.

Portfolio showcase & discussion on the portfolio will be part of the interview process.

Please note that there is no negative marking in our Entrance Exam Process.

SHORT TERM PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE COURSES

For all the Short-Term Professional Certificate Courses, no entrance exam is required.

Scholarships for top creative talent
All Pearl academy applicants for Academic Year 2025 are automatically eligible for scholarship, based on their performance in our 2-stage entrance exam. Scholarship results will be shared in the offer letter itself.
