Application Forms for Admission to First Year Class for the Session 2016-17 for B.A. (Honours & General) Day, B.Sc. (Honours & General) Day, B.Com. (Honours & General) Evening and B.A. (General) Evening will be available from College website on and from 17th May, 2016 to 3rd June 2016. Last date for payment of application fees in the bank (any branch of Canara Bank to Account No. 8566101000001, MICR Code 700015056, IFSC Code CNRB0008566) is 4th June 2016.

Subjects Offered

Subject Combination

B.A. General (Day) students should opt from one subject from each group.

B.A. Honours (Day) students should select any two groups and choose one Subject from each selected group except their own Honours Subject.

B.A. General (Evening) students will have Political Science, Education and History as compulsory Subjects.

B.Sc. Pure General - Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics Compulsory

B.Sc. Bio General - Zoology, Botany and Chemistry / Physiology

General Rules and Regulations

• Only those students who studied under west Bengal council of H.S. education / C.B.S.E / I.S.C and other recognized boards which are approved by University of Calcutta are eligible to fill in the application form directly from the college website.
• Admission taken on the basis of false statement or misstatement, found at any point of time shall be summarily cancelled.
• Dates and Time of admission must be strictly followed. No extension of date and time will be specially granted to anyone.
• Candidates applying for One Subject may also apply separately for Other Subjects by following the same procedure mentioned above, she or he has to pay Rs. 150/- + bank charges of Rs. 30/- for each such application.

Admission Qualifications

• A candidate who has passed the higher secondary (10 + 2) or its equivalent examination is eligible to seek admission to the 1st year of the 3-year B.A/ B.Sc./ B.Com (Honours & General) Course of Studies provided he/she has also passed in English having full marks not being less than 100.
  
  However, no candidate shall be allowed for admission after a lapse of more than 5 years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination of recognised regular course of study after passing the previous qualifying examination (Year of Passing must not be before 2011).
  
  If adequate number of Scheduled Tribe candidates is not available, remaining seats shall be made available to Scheduled Caste candidates first. If adequate number of Scheduled Caste Candidates is not available, remaining scats shall be made available to Scheduled Tribe candidates first. If adequate number of Scheduled caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates is not available, even after that, the seats may be made available to General Category Candidates provided approval are available from Appropriate Government Department.
