Admission Notice for M.A. / M.Sc. in Geography and M.Sc. in Zoology
for the session 2016-2018

Admission process in Post-Graduate Courses in Geography and Zoology for the Academic Session 2016–2018 through On-line submission of Application form will start from 30th June, 2016 (Thursday) at 00:00 Midnight to 11:59 P.M. of 10th July, 2016 (Saturday). The cost of the Application is Rs. 650/- (Rupees Six Hundred Fifty Only) for each subject (additional Bank Charges of Rs. 50/- will be admissible).

Applicants are instructed to fill the form properly. Any discrepancy or false statement if found in the application the candidature will be rejected without any prior intimation and the College will has no responsibility regarding the matter even after submission of the application fee and/ or admission fee.

Applicants are also instructed to print the Bank Challan after successful submission of the On-line filled in application form and requested to submit the application fee of Rs. 650/- (plus applicable Bank Charges) to any Branch of Indian Overseas Bank for validation of his / her candidature.

For applicants of University of Calcutta a Combined List along with the specific lists for SC / ST / OBC- A / OBC- B categories will be published in the website strictly based on the merit score of B.A. / B.Sc. qualification and notified duly for filling up of 60% of the total seats for both the subjects, and a list of valid applicants of Other Universities will also be published.

For the applicants of Other Universities an admission test will be conducted in the College followed by publication of lists strictly based on the performance in the said test for each category to fill up the rest 40% of the total seats. The willing applicants of University of Calcutta may also sit in the said admission test and they will be enlisted according to the performance in the said test along with the applicants of Other Universities.

Admission fee for M.A. / M.Sc. In Geography : Rs. 20,000/- (Approx.) for 1st Semester.
Admission fee for M.Sc. in Zoology : Rs. 25,000/- (Approx.) for 1st Semester.
