  • At least 60% marks in 3 Year B.Sc. (Hons.) from UGC recognized University and Mathematics as one of the subject.
  • At least 60% marks in Mathematics at (10+2) level and at least 60% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level
  • At least 60% marks in Mathematics at 10th level and at least 60% marks in aggregate at 10th level
  • Valid JECA Rank 2017
  • For SC/ST/PWD Candidates 5% relaxation of marks in all eligibility criteria.

  The Applications must be accompanied with copies of JECA Rank Card, Passed Mark Sheet of B.Sc. (Hons.) examination, Passed Mark Sheet of class XII examination and other relevant documents.

• Admission : After counseling on the same day.
• Admission Fee : Rs. 5272/- plus Rs. 100/- (as application fee).

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

• Candidates have to apply in the prescribed Application Form to be downloaded from the website.
• Application Form along with relevant documents have to submit in the Secretary, UCSTA office at C.U. Rajabazar Science College Campus, 92, A. P. C. Road, Kolkata – 700009.
• As Acknowledgement Slip candidate have to produce one photocopy of the duly filled in Application Form.
• On the basis of eligible applicant list called up / counseling notice mentioning Date, Time & Rank to be published in the website.
• Candidates have to be present in the Counseling table in person.
• Selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit (JECA Rank) and subject to availability of vacant seat(s).
• Finally selected candidates are to take admission on the SPOT by depositing Rs. 5272.00 (Rupees five thousand two hundred seventy two only) plus Application Fees Rs. 100.00 (Rupees One Hundred only) after verification and submission of necessary documents.
• Finally selected candidates have to submit an online application form.
  • To submit online application softcopy of recent colour photo (in jpg/ijpg format less than 20 kb) Passport size (3.5cm x 3.5 cm.).
  • To submit online application need scan copy of full signature of the candidate (in jpg/ ijpg format less than 20kb).
  • E-mail address should be less than 30 characters.
  • Candidate need not to submit online application before allotment. Rather they are requested to bring the above three (03) items, so that the online application may be submitted quickly after allocation.
• The candidates will have to produce the Original and self attested copies of the following documents at the time of reporting in person on the day of Counseling:
  • Rank Card issued by JECA - 2017
  • Admit Card of JECA – 2017
  • Admit Card, Mark Sheet & Certificate of Madhyamik Examination or equivalent examination (Class X)
  • Mark Sheet & Certificate of H.S. Examination or equivalent examination (Class XII)
  • Mark Sheet & Certificate of B.Sc. (Hons.) Examination or equivalent examination.
  • Birth Certificate. (10th standard Admit Card / Certificate)
  • Adhaar Card.
  • Certificate from appropriate authority for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/ PWD applicants, if applicable.
  • Three (3) copies of color Passport size photographs.
