Under Graduate (B.A., B.Sc. & B.Com.) Eligibility Criteria for the Admission - 2016
Please note that Aggregate obtained in class XII shall be calculated by adding the marks in top FOUR Subjects in order of marks secured by a candidate.
Marks in compulsory Environmental Education / Environmental Science / Environmental Studies shall not be taken into account for calculation of Aggregate Marks.
If the Environmental Science is studied as an Elective Subject of 100 Marks, it may be taken into account for the purpose of determining the Aggregate Marks.
There Are Five (05) Types of Student Categories General, SC, ST, OBC-A & OBC-B.

Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC-A & OBC-B communities should obtain a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate OR 40% marks in the subject or related subjects. SC, ST & OBC communities recognised by Govt. of West Bengal are only eligible for the exemption mentioned above.

Marks in Art, BPO Skills, Commercial Art - Application, Dance / Kathak, Data Entry Operators, Drawing, Entrepreneurship, Fashion Studies & Design, Fine Arts, Food Nutrition, Geometrical and Building Drawing, Geometrical and Mechanical Drawing, Home Mangement, Home Nursing, Home Science, Office Practice & Procedures, Painting, Physical & Health Education, Physical Education, Secretarial Practice, Tailoring, Vocational Subjects (As offered by ISC & CBSE boards), Word Processing shall not be taken into account for calculation of aggregate marks. [Applicable for JMC (H) also.

Marks in Art, BPO Skills, Commercial Art - Application, Creative Writing & Translation Studies, Dance / Kathak, Drawing, ENVS, Fashion Designing, Fine Arts, Food Nutrition, Geometrical and Building Drawing, Geometrical and Mechanical Drawing, Home Mangement, Home Nursing, Home Science, Mordern Foreign Languages, Multimedia, Music, Painting, Physical & Health Education, Physical Education, SUPW shall not be taken into account for calculation of aggregate marks.
Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC-A & OBC-B communities should obtain a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate OR 40% marks in the subject or related subjects. SC, ST & OBC communities recognised by Govt. of West Bengal are only eligible for the exemption mentioned above .
