• Indian National in possession of Indian Passport.
• Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) with 60% from a recognized board or any University. Should have passed with not less 50% marks in English as subject, at either 10th or 10+2 standard.

Duration of the course :  36 Months

Approved by :  The Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India

Age Criteria :  Age not more than 25 yrs. on date of commencement of course with a concession of 2 yrs for female candidates.

Medical Standard

• Medically fit as per the standards prescribed by M.S.Medical Examination Rules 2000.
• Eye sight 6/6 in each eye without visual aids and normal colour vision and should have passed the MMD Eye Sight Test.
• No Eye Glass Permitted.
• No Colour Blindness

B.Tech. Marine Engineering

Eligibility Criteria

• Indian National in possession of Indian Passport.
• Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) with 60% from a recognized board or any University. Should have passed with not less 50% marks in English as subject, at either 10th or 10+2 standard.

Duration of the course :  4 years ( 8 Semesters Residential Course)

SEACOM MARINE COLLEGE was established for Research, Experiment, Design and Development purpose in the field of Science and Technologies and to provide education and training in the relevant field. This role is now confined to the Training and certification of STCW’95(Standard of Training Certification and Watch Keeping) mandatory courses, however additional practical oriented sophisticated courses in the field of Electronics & Telecommunications with a specialized emphasize in Information Technology is in the pipeline. This college has achieved an excellent reputation as provider of quality training. Extensive facilities and highly experienced faculty staff have made it a leading college in India.

As the influence of the college grew, the need for recognition became apparent. Government of India, Ministry of Communications authorized Seacom Marine College to impart training and instructions to students in India. The College started intensive research and experiments for the development of Science & Technologies. To accelerate technological development , The Central Govt. further authorized Seacom Marine College to establish, maintain and work for the purpose of research / experimentation, design / development at Calcutta and also for servicing and maintenance of Electronic Computer based equipments.
