General Information :

• Candidates who have passed in the B.Sc. (Hons) examination of Calcutta University or equivalent in the year 2016 are eligible to apply.

• Seats for General Merit Category :
  Calcutta University – 17%,
  Other Universities – 12%
• Other Reservation of Seats :
  SC – 22%,
  ST – 6%,
  PH – 3%,
  Christian – 30%,
  Scottish Church College Students – 10%
• Applicants must have scored at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination are eligible to apply in the General Merit category. 40% for SC/ST/Christian applicants.
• Applicants for the Chemistry course should have passed in Mathematics and Physics/Computer Science as elective subjects at the U.G. level.
