DESCRIPTION OF SUBJECT TAUGHT

Keeping in mind the college infrastructure and as affiliated by the university of Calcutta, the college offers following combinations:

• Medium of instruction is both English & Bengali

• HUMANITIES STREAM : A student of Honours and General Courses in Humanities Stream should take two and three elective subjects respectively, together with Compulsory Bengali or Compulsory Hindi or Compulsory Urdu or Alternative English and Compulsory English.
  
  • Every student both of Honours and General courses has to study ENVS (Environmental Studies) in the 3rd Year Class.
• SCIENCE STREAM : A student of Honours and General Courses in Science Stream should take two and three elective subjects respectively, together with Compulsory Bengali or Compulsory Hindi or Compulsory Urdu or Alternative English and Compulsory English.
  
  • Every student both of Honours and General courses has to study ENVS (Environmental Studies) in the 3rd Year Class.
