B.Ed. Admission Notice

Candidates are advised to follow the instructions given below :

• The mere fact that any name, published in the list, does not by itself ensure admission of the candidate concerned unless his/her original credentials are found in order during verification after provisional admission and admission will be final only after proper verification of the credentials in original at that time.
• For correction of mistake (if any) in the provisional Rank lists, in respect of name, form no., category, grade point or length of service, subject and others, as mentioned by the candidate in the application form, written intimation must reach the office of the Secretary, U.G. Council, B.U. within 15.07.2015 (except Saturday & Sunday). Selection for provisional admission to the course will be made through Central Counselling serially on the basis of the corrected list. Candidates, belonging to SC, ST & PWD categories, shall get the advantage of reservation as per rules.
• During counselling candidates or their authorized representatives are advised to bring with them the receipt of the application form and all the credentials in original.
• If any candidate (or his/her authorized representative) fails to appear at the counselling, he/she will not be considered for admission in any case.
• Three new self-financed B.Ed. Colleges recognized by the NCTE w.e.f. 2015-’16, namely,
  Glorious College of Education (B.Ed.), Vill & P.O. : Mollarpur, Dist. : Birbhum [Method subjects : Bengali, English, Sanskrit, History, Geography & Education],
  Rasulpur Protik (B.Ed.), Vill.& P.O. : Rasulpur, Bankura [Method subjects : Bengali, English, History, Pol.Science, Geography, Physical Science, Life Science & Mathematics] and
  Mahasin B.Ed. College, Vill. & P.O. : Lohapur, Birbhum have been affiliated to the University of Burdwan.
  Selection of candidates for provisional admission to this course in the above three colleges also will be made through Counselling.
• Number of affiliated Self-financed B.Ed. Colleges may be changed on the basis of recommendation made by the NCTE and subsequently affiliation granted by the University at any stage during the process of admission.
• The University also reserves all right to drop or include any name if any suppression of facts on the part of the students or any mistake in calculation of grade points is detected at any stage before or after the admission.
• The following method subject(s) will also be available in the B.Ed. Colleges listed below in addition to the method subjects mentioned in the Information Sheet :
