NOTIFICATION REGARDING PROVISIONAL ADMISSION
Provisional admission to first year B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. Three years (Honours & General) courses - 2016
Admission will be strictly on the basis of merit


B.A. Arabic, Bengali, English, Persian, Sanskrit, Urdu, Islamic History & Culture, History, Sociology, Political Science, Philosophy
B.Sc. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Microbiology, Zoology, Botany, Economics
B.Com. Accounting & Finance


Important Norms :
  • The candidates are required to bring on the day of counselling the print out of the filled in Application, the Money Receipt and Declaration after affixing recent stamp / passport-size Photograph (selfa ttested) atthe specified space in the said print out of the application.
  • Admission will be made strictly on the basis of merit and attendance of the candidates in person on the dates & time of the counselling of the respective subjects is mandatory.
  • If seats remain vacant after 1st Counselling, candidates with ranks immediately next to the rank of the last admitted candidate in each subject will be called for the 2nd Phase of Counselling and provisional admission. Details will be notified after 1st Counselling.

Important Dates & Times * :
  • Counselling & Admission will be held on same day : on and from 22.06.2016 (Detailed counselling schedule given below).
  • Declaration of the vacancy position and Counselling and provisional admission for vacant seats (ifany) will be announced later.
* Schedule may be changed due to unavoidable circumstances


Requirements for Admission :
  • Original Mark-sheet of Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent.
  • Original Age-proof (Admit card / equivalent certificates).
  • Original caste certificate for S.C. / S.T. / OBC (from appropriate authority).
  • Original proof for Differently Abled candidates.
  • One photocopy of H.S / Equivalent mark sheet (without attestation).
  • Three stamp-sized recent coloured photos.
  • Bank-endorsed original Candidate's copy of Money Receipt.
  • Fees* (in Cash) to be submitted to the Bank at the time of admission :
    For B.A. (Honours) : Rs. 797 /-
    For B.Sc. (Honours) : Rs. 1057 /-
    For B.Com. (Honours) : Rs. 867 /-
    For B.A. (General) : Rs. 622 /-


    * Including tuition fees of 6 months.

Registration and sports fees of Rs. 160/- (Rs. 85/- for SC, ST & OBC categories) to be charged at the time of registration to be announced later. Fee-structure may change as per Government notification.

Admission fees are to be deposited to only at Dharamtolla Branch of Indian Bank on same day of counselling or on the next working day to finalise Provisional Admission.
(Banking hour : Monday - Saturday: 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., except 2nd and 4th Saturday and Holidays).
