Eligibility Criteria for 3Yrs. Diploma Engineering Courses: Jexpo:-

Passes 10th or its equivalent examination with 35% of marks & D.O.B. should be 17 years or plus.

AND

• 1. Valid JEXPO- 2013 Rank.
• OR
• 2. Passed 10th standard with 45% marks in Physical Science & Mathematics taken together.

Lateral Entry in 2nd Year (3rd Sem) : Admission through VOCLET -2012 Counseling.

Global Institute of Science and Technology was born in the lap of ICARE in the year 2006. It commenced its journey only with 150 students. The number of teaching staff was six at that time. The foundation stone was laid by the Hon'ble Chairman of ICARE, Sri Lakshman Seth in the augustus presence of respected Sri Ananda Dev Mukhopadhyay, former Vice-Chancellor of Vidyasagar University. The rest about this institute may impress like a romantic fiction. Since its inception it had had a dream-run. Only within a tenure of four academic years, it homes almost 1200 students with 67 members serving it relentlessly for leaving no stones unturned. Presently, it has a sprawling campus on 10 acres of lush green land. It has an excellent infrastructure with airy and well-lighted classrooms with the provision for updated technical aids used in an advanced academia.
