The Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam results (Paper-I) has been declared by the Staff Selection Commission on, July 29th, 2016 at 9 pm. The candidates can check the results by logging into its official website www.ssc.nic.in.
This year, around 20 lakh candidates had appeared for the examination that was conducted by the Staff Selection Commission in the months of November and December in various centres across the country.
The candidates who will clear the written examination will be called for a skill test/ typing test. After clearing the test, the Staff Selection Commission may appoint the candidates for the posts of Postal Assistant, Lower Division Clerk, Data Entry Operator.

Age limit:
The upper age limit of the candidates must not exceed 27 years.
Pay scale:
Postal Assistant: The candidates will be in the pay band of Rs 5200 to Rs 20200 with an additional grade pay of Rs 2400 per month.
Lower Division Clerk: The candidates will be in the pay band of Rs 5200 to Rs 20200 with an additional grade pay of Rs 1900 per month.
Steps to check the results:
- Log on to www.ssc.nic.in
- Click on SSC CHSL result
- Enter the Required Details
- Click on Submit Button
- Result will appear on the screen
- Save the result and take a print out for further reference.
