The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the results of Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) Tier 1 on its official website, ssc.nic.in

How to check the results?

• Go to the official website
• Click on the link, 'Declaration of Result of Combined Graduate Level (Tier 1) Examination, 2016'
• A new result window will open
• Click On the relevant examination result Link
• A pdf file containg the result will open, save the pdf for future refference.

Over 14.99 lakh candidates appeared in the examination which was held from August 27 to September 11 at 415 centres in 96 cities across the country. The exam had four sections based on General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension.

After qualifying the Tier 1 exam, the candidates will appear in Tier 2 examination which is scheduled to be held between November 30 and December 2 (tentatively). This year, the Commission has revised the scheme of the examination. They have introduced Descriptive paper of English/Hindi as Tier III.

The candidates can check the paper pattern of Tier III below:

Mode of examination: Pen and Paper mode
Scheme of examination: Descriptive Paper in English / Hindi (writing of essay/precis/letter/application writing etc.)
Marks: 100
Time: 60 minutes

Selection procedure:

The candidates will be selected on the basis on overall performance in Tier - I, Tier- II and Tier- III. The candidates are required to qualify all the tiers separately and there will be no sectional cut-off.
