The State Bank of India (SBI) is likely to declare the results of main examination for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) today, on August 16th, 2016.

Once the results will be declared, all the candidates can check the same on the official website, sbi.co.in

The online examination was conducted on July 31, 2016.

Earlier, the application process for the SBI PO vacancy started on May 4, 2016 and ended on May 24, 2016.

The bank has earlier released a notification PO (CRPD/PO/2016-17/02) to recruit eligible candidates for 2,260 posts of probationary officers.

How to check the results:

In order to check the results, the candidates should visit the official website, sbi.co.in and go to the 'Careers with SBI' section and click on the link 'Probationary Officer Exam Result'.

The candidates can download the result document. The selected candidates can check their Roll Numbers on the list. They do not have to submit any registration number to access the results.

All the candidates are advised to take printout of the same for future reference.

Exam pattern:

The main examination consisted of objective tests for 200 marks and descriptive test for 50 marks.

Selection procedure:

After qualifying in the main examination, the candidates will be eligible for the phase III i.e. group discussion and interview.

• Download of call letter for interview : August 22th, 2016
• Group discussion and interview : September 1st, 2016
• Declaration of final result : September 30th, 2016
