The result of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) NTPC will be getting released by September end, as per official statement.

Earlier, this is what the official website, www.rrbbnc.gov.in, reads:

"You were part of the world's largest computer based test organised for about 92 lakh candidates in March-May 2016. Preparation of result for the examination involving millions of candidates requires data handling of unprecedented magnitude."

Earlier, the last date for raising objections to the answer keys released by the board was also extended from August 19 to August 21.

The advertisement (CEN 03/2015) regarding the exam, published in December 2015, sought to recruit people for various posts, including assistant station master, clerk, goods guard, typist, apprentice and junior accounts assistant.

The online written exams to fill 18,252 vacancies in various technical and non-technical posts of RRB were held at 400 centres across India.

Moreover, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) released the answer keys of the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) on August 12.

How to check the results:

• Candidates are required to visit the official website
• Click on the link 'RRB NTPC Result 2016'.
• Enter the necessary details and Submit the same.
• The results would appear on the screen.

The candidates can take a printout for further reference.
