The result of Assistant Preliminary Exam 2016 has been declared by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for all the regional offices. All those candidates who had appeared for the same, are required to check their respective results at the official website www.rbi.org.in
The exam was conducted on December 24 for recruitment to the post of Assistant, against 610 vacancies. All those who have cleared the exam will now be appearing for the main examination. After clearing the mains, an interview round will be conducted for the final selection which will carry a total of 25 marks.
Paper pattern for Mains
The Mains will consist of the following five sections:
- Reasoning
- English Language
- Numerical Ability
Total marks: 200
- The paper will consist of objective type questions
- The duration of the exam will be two hours
- There will be negative marks for wrong answers. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer
The Roll No. of candidates successful in clearing the main online examination will be available on RBI's website and a brief notice thereof will be published on the Bank's website in February / March 2017.
Selected candidates will be initially posted in RBI's office within the recruitment zone for which they had applied. However, they are liable to be transferred in administrative exigencies to centres grouped and classified into West, South, North and East Zone offices.
