The result of NMAT 2016 has been announced on the official website. All those candidates who had appeared for the exam between October 7 to 21 are required to check the same at the official website www.nmat.org.in. The exam was conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) from October 7.

The NMAT by GMAC is one of the largest online tests in India which is conducted in a time frame of three months, allowing choice of two retakes to the students. The exam is used for admissions to some of the leading graduate business programmes in India.

The exam includes three sections :

• Language Skills
• Quantitative Skills
• Logical Reasoning

The examination was conducted at 32 centres in 24 cities throughout India.

Institutes accepting the score :

The test scores are accepted by SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad; Xavier University, Bhubaneswar; VIT University, Vellore; and Amity University, Delhi NCR, among others.

Steps to check the result :

• Log on to the official website www.nmat.org.in
• Click on "Results announced for candidates who appeared for the exam between October 7 to 21"
• Log in to your account by entering your e-mail id and password
• Click on Login
• Your result will be displayed on the screen
• Download the same and take a printout for future reference
