The results of the first ever aptitude test results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) conducted by the Maharashtra state board of secondary and higher secondary education (MSBSHSE) will be announced today on the official website of the board.

All the candidates need to log on to the official website to check the results.

The online examination was conducted on from February 8 to 25, 2016.

In the examination, it was seen that over 15 lakh students appeared in Maharashtra. This aptitude test was held only for Class 10 students who have recently taken their board exams.

According to a HT report , Meenakshi Walke, principal of IES Secondary school in Bhandup, Maharashtra said, "This was the first time such an aptitude test was conducted. So, it is very difficult to know how it will be received by the parents. The test was conducted well and hopefully, the results too shall be satisfying. However, we must know that what is more important in aptitude test is the one-on-one counselling. If the counselling, as told to us, will be conducted, only then will the purpose be met."

Steps to check the results of aptitude test:

• All the candidates need to log on to the website, www.mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in
• Then click on, 'SSC Aptitude Test Results'
• Enter all the details and click on Submit
• After the results will get displayed, candidates need to download the same
• Then save the results and take printout of the same for future reference
