The results for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for the month of December 2016 have been declared on the official website, https://www.aima.in/testing-services/mat/mat.html
The candidates can check the results by following the steps below:
- Go to the official website
- Click on the tab, 'MAT December Result 2016'
- Enter the Roll Number and Form Number
- After submitting the same, the results will be displayed on the screen
- Take a printout for future reference.
The following was the test pattern of the MAT examination December 2016
- Number of sections: 5
- Number of questions: 200
- Number of questions for each section: 40
- Time: 150 minutes
MAT scores are considered by a wide range of B-schools including some really good management schools. While some of the B-Schools using MAT scores for admission also accept CAT scores, the competition levels in MAT may be lower than those in CAT. A large number of colleges (around 400 colleges) base their admission through MAT.

The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardised test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for the admission to MBA and allied programmes. The government of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003.
