The result of Forest Guard (Vanrakshak) mains examination has been declared by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC). All those candidates who had appeared for the same are required to check out their respective results from the official website www.jssc.in.

The exam was successful in the month of May. A large number of candidates who had cleared the prelims round appeared for the mains across various centers in the state. Those candidates who have cleared the mains, will now have to appear for the physical and medical test. The physical test is scheduled to be conducted from December 7th, 2016.

The commission had earlier released a notification inviting online applications for recruitment to 2204 vacant posts of Forest Guard.

Steps to check the result:

• Log on to the official website : www.jssc.in
• On the homepage, click on 'JSSC Forest Guard/Vanrakshak Mains Results'
• A list of the selected candidates will appear on the screen
• Download the same and take a printout for further reference.

About JSSC:

It is an organisation under the Government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the various ministries and departments of the Government of India and in subordinate offices.

The commission may recommend the candidates for the appointment to all the posts of group C and non-gazetted general / technical / non-technical service / cadres of the state government in group B where there is provision of direct appointment partially or in full, and selection on which is not done by Jharkhand Public Service Commission.
