The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) Class 12 Board exam results have been announced today, i.e on May 21, 2016 at around 10:30 am. It has been declared ahead of time, as earlier they were expected to be out at 12 noon. All those candidates who have appeared for the examination, may check their scores at the official website www.cbseresults.nic.in.

Steps to check the results :

• Log on to the official website www.cbseresults.nic.in
• Click on 'Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII ) 2016'
• Enter your Roll Number and School Number (as given in your admit card)
• Your result will be displayed on the screen
• Download the same and take a print out for future reference

The second phase of tele-counselling will also be functional from May 21 upto June 4. The post-result counselling will be conducted daily from 8 am to 10 pm. The CBSE will be providing counselling services to the students and parents for the 19th consecutive year, so as to overcome common psychological problems and general queries related to the Class 10 and 12 results.

The CBSE counselling is an outreach programme which is carefully designed keeping the heterogeneity of student's population and geographical spread. The CBSE tele-counselling is largely offered by trained counsellors and principals from within CBSE affiliated schools located in India and outside India.

It is a voluntary and free of cost service provided by the participants.
