Calculation of Aggregate :

• • Total of the ‘Aggregate’ = Best Language (English / Bengali) + Best Three (3) out of the remaining conventional subjects (which may include the second best language (English / Bengali))
  • Compulsory Environmental Studies will NOT be considered in either case.
  • 10% and 5% of the Aggregate would be deducted in case of the candidates passing in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

• For B.A. General Course :
  • All Categories : Passed in HS/equiv.
• For B.Sc. General Course (Physical Science) :
  • All Categories : Passed in HS/equiv. in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• For B.Sc. General Course (Biological Science) :
  • All Categories : Passed in HS/ equiv. in Science stream with Biology and Chemistry as subjects.
• For B.Com. General Course :
  • All Categories : Passed in HS/ equiv. in the Commerce or Science stream (with Accountancy or Mathematics respectively).

Reservation of seats for SC / ST / PC / OBC candidates will be as per the existing rules of the Government of West Bengal. A Certificate from a competent authority must be produced for claiming such reservation. No applicant will be allowed to take advantage of more than one quota of reservation. Candidates having SC / ST / OBC Certificate issued by States other than West Bengal will be treated as General Category for admission.
