GENERAL COURSE :

The Morning Section caters exclusively to the General level course in Humanities only. The General courses in Science and Commerce stream are offered in the Day Section. Students of the General course are required to take three general subjects as per availability and accommodation. In addition, they will have to select two compulsory language papers i.e. compulsory English and one of these three subjects compulsory Bengali, Compulsory French or alternative English for the Part-I examination and Environmental Studies for the Part-III examination.

• Candidates have to choose One Elective Subject from each of the following groups.
  Group – A: Bengali / English
  Group – B: History / Political Science
  Group – C: Sanskrit / Philosophy / Sociology

Combinations of Subjects Offered at the B.Sc. General Level :

• Physical Science : Physics, Chemistry, Biological Sciencs & Mathematics.
• Biological Science : Zoology, Botany and Chemistry.
