COURSES OF STUDY & LIST OF ABBREVIATIONS

The college is affiliated to the West Bengal State University, Barasat North 24 Parganas, and offers Honours courses in the following subjects.

Sciences	B.Sc. Honours in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology and Economics. B.Sc. Major Industrial Fish and Fisheries.
Humanities	B.A. Honours in English, Bengali, History, Political Science and Philosophy.

Honours students will have to take up one Honours subject and two General subjects. Student opting for the General Stream will have to take up three general subjects as part of their course.
Environmental Science is Compulsory for all first year students.
