Provisional admission to 1st semester of Post-Graduate classes in Applied Psychology, Bengali, English, Mathematics, Botany and Zoology for the Session 2016-17 of Bethune College.

ONLY GRADUATES WITH HONOURS IN RELEVANT SUBJECT OF 2015 & 2016 MAY APPLY

Applications for admission to 1st semester of M.A/M.Sc. courses will be received only on online through the college website:-

www.bethuneadmissions.ac.in and to be submitted online

From 06/07/2016 (09.00 A.M.) to 18/07/2016 (08.30 P.M.)

• Only Female Candidates are eligible to apply.
• Applicants must get a print out of the application form after online submission.
• Bank challans (3 copies) will be generated online only from 09.00 a.m. to 08.30 p.m. after online submission of application form.
• Application Fee to be paid at any branch of Indian Bank from (07/07/16) to (19/07/16) (within banking hours).
• The college has adopted the policy for reservation of seats ear-marked for CU and Non-CU candidates (as per govt. policy).
• Date of publication of the full merit list for 60 % of the seats allocated for CU candidates is 25/07/2016.
• Date of Publication of the 1st merit list for 40% of the seats to be announced on 02/08/2016.
• First Year Post-Graduate Classes will commence from 1st week of September, 2016.
• Defective application form is liable to cancellation.
• Merit list will be prepared strictly on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the respective honours subject.

•  Application from Physically Challenged Candidates (if any) will be considered as admissible.
•  SC / ST / OBC (A+B) candidates from West Bengal only are eligible for reserved seats.
•  **For Applied Psychology both B.A. and B.Sc. (in Psychology Honours) are eligible to apply.
•  For Applied Psychology in MA/ MSc: Specialization in Organizational and Environmental Psychology is offered

• The candidate should be present personally, failure of which will cancel her candidature.
• Guardians will not be allowed to enter the college premises on the day of admission.
• Selected candidates will have to pay the admission fees on the same day.
• There is no hostel facility in the college.

Documents to be produced at the time of admission

• Admit Card of Secondary Examination as Age-Proof : Original & one attested photocopy.
• Mark sheet of B.A. / B.Sc. Part I, II and III Examinations : Original and attested photocopies.
• The Counter-foil (College copy) of the Bank Challan : Original.
• SC / ST / OBC (A & B) / Physically Handicapped Certificate (If applicable) : Original and attested photocopy.
• One copy of Passport size photograph.

Fees to be paid at the time of admission

The candidates are requested to bring with them Fees to be paid at the time of admission (inclusive of ‘Caution money’ of Rs. 2,000/-) for the purpose of admission
For M.A. : Rs. 5,341/-
For M.Sc. : Rs. 5,601/-
For M.A. / M. Sc. in Applied Psychology : Rs. 5,601/-

Admission from the Second Merit List will be announced later (if required).
