- For all courses English is Compulsory subject in Class 10+2 Exam. The candidate should have pass mark in English with full marks not less than 100
- For All general courses the candidate should have pass marks in at least 4 subjects(excluding ENVE/ENVS).If ENVS is studied as an elective of 100 Marks, it may be considered.
- Reservation rules will be as per West Bengal Govt. Rules.
- Caste Certificate approved by the Govt. of W.B. only will be accepted as valid certificate.
- In each of the General/SC/ST/OBCA/OBCB 3% seats are reserved for Physically Challenged candidates as per State Govt. rules.
- Candidates with proven excellence in the field of Sports and Cultural Fields at the level of District/State/National/International tournaments/competitions having minimum C.U. admission criteria can apply in Sports & Cultural Category. They need to produce such certificate in original during verification.
- For B.Sc.(Gen) course the candidate should have pass mark in Mathematics.
- Aggregate % will be calculated by the System automatically taking best four(4) subjects.
- For different Courses separate applications are required.
- Candidates who have passed 10+2 exam. or equivalent in 2011 and onwards are also eligible to seek admission in 1st year.
- Pass in a subject means pass marks in both theory and practical/oral/project separately.
- If after commencement of regular classes, a candidate is absent for two consecutive months without prior permission, his/her name will be struck off without notice.
