Applications for Provisional Admission to the First Year B.A./B.Sc./B.Com Three Years (Honours & General) Courses - 2013 will be received online.
From The day after Publication of H.S. (10+2) result to 15/06/2013.

- Candidature of a candidate will be outright cancelled (at any stage) if the data given in on-line application do not match with original testimonials.
- The students passing H.S. or its equivalent Examination (Candidates of Vocational & Open School are not allowed) in the year 2012 & 2013 can apply for admission provided other 'Eligibility Criteria for Application' are fulfilled.
- A separate application must be submitted for each Honours/General subject.
- The candidates are requested to get the Print out of the filled in Application Form and Money Receipt & Declaration after online submission of the application. One recent Passport-size Photo (Self Attested) is to be affixed at the specified space in the Printout of filled in Application Form which may be required at the time of Counselling & Admission Process.
- Application Fees: Rs. 60.00 for each subject applied for.

Application Fees are to be submitted at any of the following branches of :
IDBI Bank (Monday–Friday : 10.00a.m. to 4.00p.m. & Saturday: 10.00a.m. to 1.00p.m.)
on producing the Print out of the Money Receipt in triplicate generated during online-submission and the candidates copy of Money Receipt are to be endorsed by bank at the time of submission of the Application Fees. Candidates with endorsed Money Receipt will only be considered in the Admission Process.

- A candidate who has passed H.S. or equivalent Examination, 2012 & 2013 (Candidates of Vocational & Open School are not allowed) with minimum Five approved subjects (each of 100 as Full Marks and prescribed pass marks) of which at least one is English Language shall be eligible to apply for admission.
- Admission will be made strictly on basis of Merit and Attendance of the Candidate on the date and time of the Counselling of the respective subject is mandatory.
- In case of eligibility of candidates, seeking admission on migration, regarding equivalence of which there is no explicit decision of the University of Calcutta, or with a subject in accordance with the provision of the University of Calcutta Regulation, specific permission must be obtained from The Secretary, U.G. Council, University of Calcutta before their admission. Such students will not be admitted unless they are formally permitted by the University of Calcutta to pursue their studies in this college.
- Those who passed the H.S. or equivalent Examination prior to 2012 are not eligible to apply for admission to First Year B.A. /B.Sc./B.Com. Courses for the session 2013-2014.
- Beware of any Tout or other Agents. For any information regarding admission contact College office / Admission Committee only. Any sort of cash should be deposited at Bank only. Interference of any third party is not allowed.

Willing candidates are required to present himself / herself with :
- Original & Attested photocopies of Marksheet (10+2) H.S. or Equivalent Examination.
- Original & Attested photocopies of Admit Card of Class X / Age proof.
- Original School leaving certificate.
- Three stamp-size (2 X 2.5 cm) coloured photographs.
- Original and Two attested photocopies of Caste Certificate.
- Original and Two attested photocopies of Physically Handicapped certificate (not below 40 %) for PH Candidate.

Merit lists of qualified candidates will be published in the following two segments
- First list consists of number of candidates approximately 5 times of the No. of Seats in each respective Honours & General subject.
- A complete list includes all the eligible candidates.
- Candidates from First List will be called on Counselling & considered for admission according to their position in the merit list.

The candidates qualified for admission from First List only will have to report for admission to the Board of Counselor at the College Hall (Ground Floor) as per the above schedule, failing which the candidature will be deemed cancelled. No further claim in this regard will be considered under any circumstances.
- Final list of selected candidates will be recommended for admission after counseling/considering the choices of the candidates reported for admission.

Reporting for Admission will involve following steps :
- The candidate will have to present himself / herself at the College Hall (Ground Floor) at the time of reporting.
- Candidates securing position in the First Lists of the several subjects should seek admission in the subject of his/her choice and report for only one subject accordingly.
- Any further instructions related to admission will be given at the time of reporting/counselling.
The candidate must pass Higher Secondary (10 + 2) or its equivalent Examination in the year 2012 & 2013 and he/she also passed in English having full marks at least 100.
Candidates who passed from the West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education & Training are not eligible to apply.
** Aggregate = Sum of best four marks (having at least pass marks) excluding compulsory Environmental Study / Education. **
