Traditional/Classical Animation (per-production, Principle of animations, Drawing), Art history and Flim study, Modeling and sculpture, Spoken English Personality Development, and Computer Fundamentals.

Subjects to be covered in 2nd year :
Project on Classical animation (Students have to do from character designing, story boarding, animation to post production completely under guidance of our faculty), Software training (Training on softwaers used for 2D and 3D computer Animation), Spoken English and Personality Develpoment, Applied Art

Subjects to be covered in 2nd year :
Specialization, (Each student has to specialize in any one of the following area according to his/her interest and skill), 2D traditional animation Flash animation, 3D modeling, Texturing, Lighting, 3D animation, Layout and Story board, Compositing and VFX. Project Internship training

Studio Practice(Work Shop), Nature study Figure drawing & composition, Preparation & Application of Glaze & Firing, Design, Drawing various shapes & form Suitable for pottery

Subjects to be covered in 3rd year :
Theory:
History of Pottery, Spoken English and Personality Development, Seminar.

Practical:
Studio Practice (Work Shop), Sculpture, Composition & Application of various kind of Glaze, Pottery design & drawing , Industrial Training Final Project

Admission Procedure

• Application form is issued from the office and to be submitted to the office with-in the scheduled date and time announced by the college authority.
• The form must be signed by the applicant’s parents or guardian who, if the applicant is admitted, will be responsible for his conduct and payment of fees.
• Eligible applicants will be required to appear at the admission test examination in drawing, painting, general knowledge and interview. The students will bring their own materials for the admission test.
• All applications must be accompanied by copies of the educational certificates, originals of which must be produced at the time of admission.

Placement Cell :
MCAT has a good linked with the leading animation industries of the country and abroad. The friendly circle of the principal of the college is well wide and they are holding the leading posts in the various industries of the country and the world. Till today, the college has provided placement to all its students those who have passed out from here. All possible care is provided to the students to ensure that they will get placement even before passing out from the college.

Hostel Facilities :
MCAT has a healthy and safety accommodation for the out station boys and girls for better attention and concentration in their classes. The rooms are specious, well furnished and duly maintained. The accommodation is located within the adjacent to the college campus. There are separates hostels for boys and girls. There is also a unique telecom facility for incoming calls only. MCAT has a few set of rules and regulations that have to be strictly adhered to. If hostels are filled up separate meaning system are arranged by MCAT authority with proper guidance and care both out station boys and girls student.

Library :
The college has a library of valuable reference books and journals chiefly relating to art and animation .The library remains open during working hours of use of the students. Books are not lent for outside use .A library card is issued to the students to borrow books against it. In our library there are some valuable and rare books which cannot be available in other colleges not only in WB but also in India MCAT library is a store house of books even many printing in stance of sculpture.

Recrational Facilities :
MCAT has its own indoor recreational facilities. It is well furnished and well equipped. Apart from this, Berhampore enjoys all kinds of shopping plazas and craft works.
